from a suitcase to a large family household to and from most countries

in most countries by seafreight and airfreight on a door to door
or door to port basis. Services include international packing and
wrapping at the residence, benefits and cost comparison of shipping
goods by sea and by air or combining both, alliances with airline
companies, freight forwarders and shipping companies,.
INBOUND
SHIPMENT CLEARANCES - are available for shipments arriving
into Australia through our licenced customs bond store facility.
Whybirds International are experienced in the application of Customs

STORAGE – secure monitored
storage facilities are available prior to shipping or in most destination
countries. All facilities are subject to annual electrical, plumbing
and fire prevention inspections as well as quarterly pest control
programs. Motor vehicle, boats, caravan and trailer storage are
also available either under cover or in our enclosed yard.
PACKING – Delicate and/or
breakable items are packed into standard or "tea chest"
cartons using relevant methods using paper and tissue paper by professional
packers for their safe transport. Books are packed into smaller
sturdy cartons to prevent damage from excessive weight. Specialised
cartons are used for packing of paintings, prints, mirrors and lampshades.
Clothing and linen are packing into specialised “lay flat”
linen cartons. Portarobe cartons can be used for clothing but take
up more space than linen cartons. We can supply cartons for those
clients who wish to owner pack their goods.
CRATING – is available and
is an option for added protection of works of art, ornaments, large
mirrors, marble and glass tops, pianos and statues.
INSURANCE – a range of transit
and storage insurance covers is available for all risks or restricted
cover at replacement or current value.
PET TRANSPORT - domestic and international
pet transport is available with special care including travel, documentation,
vaccination and veterinary inspection, boarding and quarantine as
required
HOUSE CLEANING - House cleaning
services including basic cleaning, windows, carpet cleaning, exterior
cleaning and pest control are available as required
VALET SERVICES – Full valet
or maid services are available on request at delivery at most destinations
to assist with unpacking into cupboards, making beds and general
assistance in making your new residence feel like home more quickly.
